Record your journeys, their path, distance, speed and duration. Great for group activities where you might want to revisit the route later. Simply click on Start when you set off and Stop when you’re done. Where’d I Go? will track your journey – check with the application for time, distance and average speed. Get extra details like current altitude, longitude and lattitude, and maximum speed.

Keep track of multiple collections of routes, group routes by activity type. View a summary of the list including total distance, duration and starting points. Mail the route to yourself or others to upload to Google Maps or use with Google Earth.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Pros and cons of Where'd I Go app for iPhone and iPad

Where'd I Go app good for

I paid for the full version just so I could have multiple paths. Its cheap enough. I used this app when I was in the Philippines to map out a road and some trails that were not on any map. I then emailed myself the paths and was able to find it all on google earth. Its a great app if you are going somewhere that you have never been. Makes it easy to find that path again.
The app works great in terms of distance and tracking the train and so on... But when I got to send it, it cannot be opened from the e-mail. But thats the only problem Ive had

Some bad moments

You have to pay 1,59€ for full functionality, but no info about before installing...
fail, just sorta pointless and not intuitive. Plus its not called lite but you have to pay for a full version for better functionality.
Its fake . Its not free nothing happens , maybe your altitude - maybe if you pay ? ... But who can trust that? Once your lead-on by NOT as ADVERTISED. note: there is no path selection on free. Least not that i found one. No controls/ cant set a destination pin. No usable commands/ on free - not intuitive. Its a scam lead-on ... for pay ( for what?) feature. Liars. This is what gives this business a bad name. Rating s/b a -10. Not honest- should just say "for pay" - then list what you get - then again what do I know? After all im from space Havent tried for pay version. Good Luck Amigo.
It would work really well, and be really accurate, and be extremely useful when Im getting paid for mileage. Except, it drops my trail and stops tracking quite consistently at about a half mile. Cant run in background or unlock my screen without a drop. Please fix. I paid for the ability to create a bunch of half-mile trails. Wouldve gotten a good rating otherwise.
Tracked one 15 minute ride. The app now locks up if I try to do anything but look at that "path" again. You cant create a second path. Its a single-use app which stores no useful information anyway. Dont waste your time.
